So, I don't update very often...

Yes, it is a freaking miracle. I have updated my long-forsaken livejournal account. However, here goes:

Life in Jake-Land has actually improved drastically. I now have a computer that is worth a damn, new clothes that are more on the adult side of life, and have begun the rigorous and demanding ordeal of planning my wedding. We're probably going to have the wedding at the fontanelle forest in Omaha, with the colors of the wedding being sapphire blue and hunter green. Sarah has bought her dress (which from what I understand is beautiful) and I have begun looking at tuxes for the rental. Food will be chinese, because sarah and I both want something different. Some of our table decorations will include a deck of cards for people to enjoy and some polyhedral die (which can be taken home).

All in all, I'm very much looking forward to it, if we get what we want as far as the wedding goes. Right now, the person who is theoretically paying for the wedding (sarah's mother) is not being all that receptive to our wants. Quite literally, I believe she had the entire wedding planned in HER head, and was going to tell us the specifics when she felt the that it was necessary.

So, I have now decided....this means war...

If all fails, and we are dictated exactly what our wedding will be, sarah and I have decided to bite the proverbial bullet and go with...a shotgun wedding. The courthouse shall be blessed by our presence sometime during the month of december. Every one of our friends are invited to attend, considering that this will be pretty much our only wedding. We will have the reception at the Hu-Hot, since that is our favorite place to eat in the entire galaxy (excluding the Restaurant at the End of the World).

So, you can either be happy for us, or sad.

On another note, I have reached my personal summer goal of 200 dollars on the grill in one day. This is difficult because I live in a town that is a suburb of Omaha, at a Hy-Vee that is going to be demolished in about a month, with items being in the range of 50 cents to 3 dollars. Taking that into consideration and that I only did it in THREE HOURS, it was a fucking miracle. I felt so happy, that I gave a bag of chips to the guy who bought the sandwich over the 200 dollar mark. That's how much I care about my sales. So my work can literally kiss the fattest part of my ass from now on.

Work it.

PS: If you know my friend Aaron (or even if you don't), please give him some sort of prayer or simply support, as he just had his apartment burglarized about two days ago. They stole around 3k in electronics and DVD's. He's got renters insurance, but all I gotta say is...."Damn that sucks". I hope that everything will be okay in the end.
